Who doesn’t appreciate a good before and after project showcase!? I don’t know about you friends, but for myself, I’m always inspired when I see the full reveal after renovations are completed. I call it artwork when I see fantastic remodelers and designers out there put their touches on homes, and well, REVIVE them…no pun intended!

The Overlook Dr project was a no brainer for Revived Homes. This home is in the beautiful, gated area of Grayhawk called Raptor Retreat. The first time I saw the home, I had to take on this project. It is a Toll Brothers-built home and we all know this high-end builder for their quality and open floorplans. A major plus was it had a separate guest casita, only accessible through the front courtyard which made it perfect for guests, in-laws, etc. Very private. Within two months, I had the home completely remodeled. It was at first basic, early 2000’s beige/bland, lots of carpet, traditional granite and cultured marble, etc. Well you get the picture if you saw the before pictures. It simply needed aesthetics to freshen it up. When the bones are good, you don’t mess with it! (Side note: Don’t confuse that with Marin Morris’ song, ‘The Bones.’). Actually, a great song…maybe my theme song for 2020 coming up soon!? Listen to it.
